LIGHT BOXES – A SIGN OF INVISIBLE REALITY

In collaboration with Photographer, Kfir Ziv, Light boxes (archival pigment print) were created with unique prints of change, processes inside water-filled baths that took place between paints, pigments, organic materials like seeds and synthetic materials like small plastic parts.

There is a resemblance between these Artistic works and the objective images of constellations light years away from us. Observed and documented through sophisticated telescopes or, in contrast, between the macroscopic images of cells and even small particles. Leinman suggests that it may appear as an act of alchemy, scenes depicting utter chaos and doubt. The moment of the big bang, fertilization and creation.
